If you already live in High Wycombe or the surrounding villages, you know you are one of the lucky ones. You enjoy the perfect balance of being close enough to pop into London for work or pleasure, but still come home to the beautiful Chilterns; rolling hills, gorgeous woodland, National Trust treasures around every corner and those quintessential chocolate box villages dotted among all that scenery. However, this perhaps lesser known area of the Chilterns is far more than just a pretty face…

Our locals are fiercely passionate about the area, its rich history and vibrant communities. The area is one which attracts a lot of people to make their move out of London particularly to set up home and start families. Our village schools, all thriving at the hub of their communities (not to mention the local grammar schools and extremely high calibre private schools the town has to offer) still punctuate their academic calendars with nativities, harvest festivals, summer sports days and Christmas Fayres, giving our children that nostalgic childhood we all hold dear.

In contrast to all the tradition and tranquillity of the villages, High Wycombe town centre has its eyes fixed firmly on the future. Currently in the midst of a massive updating project including expansion of the bustling Eden centre, a brand new leisure centre along with a huge range of busy restaurants and bars, the town is fast becoming the place to live for gutsy millennial first time buyers and seasoned commuters alike. Currently, Wycombe is offering a huge number of fantastic, luxury apartments, most of which are just a short walk from the train station and then a brief 23 minute trip to Marylebone and the bright lights of the capital. Savvy investors are cashing in on this demographic and keeping the rental market buoyant.

If you haven’t visited High Wycombe yet, what’s keeping you?
