On Thursday 26th March, the government released further directives regarding house moves for buyers, sellers and renters. These involve suggestions that all house moves should be postponed for as long as possible, but that there is no need for purchasers or sellers to withdraw from transactions. The guidance is of course based around maintaining social distancing measures, so the removal industry has fallen in line with this and has cancelled a number of moves for clients booked for the next few weeks. The impact on the housing market will be deep, but should be temporary as housing experts predict a bounce back later in the year similar to the post-Brexit ‘Boris Bounce’ but potentially on a larger scale. While we await the post-Corona Crescendo, the top agents are making plans to weather the storm.

We have made sure to have walk-through videos of all of our properties to give our ‘enclosed’ applicants a chance to view our listings from their sofas.
