Pubs

Nestled in the National Trust village of West Wycombe, the “wonderfully wonky” home was established in 1720, on the site of a 14th century coaching inn. It has remained the heart of the community ever since.

The Grade II listed building boasts 10 unique bedrooms honouring the original architecture - from the solid wooden beams to the outrageously crooked floors. Brimming with an eclectic mix of covetable antiques, each of our characterful rooms captures all the charm of an 18th century inn - with a contemporary twist.

The George and Dragon is also home to the village ‘local’, lovingly restored to pay homage to the renowned history that echoes through the pub walls. In pride of place is the iconic oval shield depicting St George slaying the dragon; a sign which is as old as the inn itself and remains a popular attraction with it's guests.
